JEANNE LEGARE-HAWKINS Peacefully, on Monday, March 9, 2009, Jeanne passed away at Central Park Lodge in St. Lambert, PQ at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jim Hawkins. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Simone, Thérèse (Athanase); brothers, Charles, Fernand (Orise) Brandon, Camille c.s.v.; sister-in-law Thérèse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who really loved auntie Jeanne . Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Emma (Nadeau); her sister Germaine; her brothers, Raymond, Jules and Roger; and in-laws, May Hawkins and husband Bill from Scotland. Born in Dunrea, MB in 1920, she worked in St. Rose du Lac and in Winnipeg but moved to Montreal in 1954 where she kept working for Eaton's and for Texaco from where she retired. In 1990 she married Jim Hawkins. The family wishes to express its deepest gratitude to Mrs. Penny Noseworthy for her angelic presence to Jeanne for the last number of years and especially in the final hours. Sincere thanks also to all other ladies who assisted her and to the professional staff of Central Park Lodge. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held in Dunrea, MB at a later date and burial will also take place in Dunrea. Collins Clarke, MacGillivray and White Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
